What is an Instameet? Well, since the earliest days of Instagram, people have been meeting up to take photos and videos together. As the community has grown around the world, so too has the occurrence of Instameets, gatherings of people coming together to connect, explore and celebrate their creativity. The goal is to get other Instagrammers together to meet one another. Pick a photogenic place that’s easy for people to get to and take lots of Instagrams.
The Queensland Instameet will take place at the Burleigh Head National Park. Meet the rest of the Instameet gang in the car park at 11 am. They’ll be on the hunt for shots of the National Park, Gold Coast’s awesome skyline and beaches.
This event is part of the Instameet event which will be attempting to best the world record for the biggest Instameet in the world. Be a part of history and be there on Saturday, October 4, 2014. Come along to one of the events and use the ##thisisqueensland hastag to participate.
