Can you fly faster than a Rainbow Lorikeet? Run like a Emu? Out-waddle a Wombat? Here’s your opportunity! Introducing Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s first Zoo Run for Currumbin Wildlife Hospital. Yes, that’s right, a Zoo Run is a fun run where you’ll run through Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Have fun and run for a good cause. On November 23, head over to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and help fund Currumbin Widlife Hospital.

Currumbin Wildlife Hospital admits over 7000 native animal patients annually. Each case receives the highest level of veterinary care. Following their intensive treatment, the native animals are rehabilitated and released back into the wild.

However, Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation receives no State or Federal Government funding for the treatment of the ever growing number of wildlife cases. The Foundation relies on donations and corporate sponsors to fund the crucial work of the veterinary team, in treating, rehabilitating and releasing, sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife.

Take part in this worthwhile cause. If you are a serious athlete – take on the five kilometre challenge! This course is not for the faint hearted or unfit! Not so serious? No worries, how about a two kilometre family fun run/walk. You can even dress-up if you are that way inclined! They’ll even have a prize for best-dressed entrant/team!

The Zoo Run is on Sunday, November 23, 2014 starting at 6:30am and finishing by 8am. Then free entry into Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for all the Runners. They can take their friends and family for mates rates.
