The Dawn Service is an emotional ceremony steeped in history and convention. To honour all Australians and New Zealanders who have served in the military or made the ultimate sacrifice since World War I, attend the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in 2023.
The service begins at 4:15 am and lasts until 5:30 am, so arrive early at the Cenotaph Memorial Park in Burleigh Heads, just a short stroll from Swell Resort. The main ANZAC Day ceremony will occur at Memorial Park Burleigh Heads from 9:15 am to 11 am.

The Cooly Classic, which covers a distance of 2.0 kilometres from Snapper Rocks to Kirra Beach, consistently gets the most crowds out of the four lengths, ranging from 1 to 5 kilometres.
