If you wish to make the most of your Gold Coast stay, the best water activities are within easy reach and just a short drive away.

If what you are really craving is to decompress and unwind, you won’t need to venture far, with our guest facilities offering a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy a few lazy laps in our outdoor tropical resort pool, or feel your stress simply melt away with a long and relaxing soak in the spa.

When you’ve recharged your batteries and you are ready to head out and explore this lovely coastal location, you can take your pick from the following incredible water activities, water parks, and experiences out on the water.

Wet’n’Wild

When you think of water fun on the Gold Coast, Wet’n’Wild water park instantly comes to mind. Boasting the title of Australia’s biggest water park, you’ll be delighted to discover 22 attractions including water slides and rides, wave pool, splash zone, water play structure, and more! Situated just off the Pacific Motorway in Oxenford, it’s an easy 28-minute drive away, and a great day out for families staying at Swell.

Younger children will love the new H2Oasis tropical splash zone, where they can run and play amongst the water fountains, and try not to get soaked from head to toe when the central water bucket fills up and tips out! Parents can sit back and relax with lots of shady seated areas surrounding the splash zone.

There’s also the Wet’n’Wild Junior precinct, with eight waterslides just the ride size and thrill level for little kids, a shallow kids pool with water cannons, plus an interactive play structure taking families up above to discover slides, water play stations, and so much more. When you’ve burned off enough energy, you can sit back and regroup with a relaxing float around the Calypso Beach lazy river.

When you feel like hitting the waves, wander over to the giant wave pool where you can splash and relax while the waters are calm, and then ride the waves when the siren blasts. The wave pool operates on a ten-minute cycle, so you can cool down and relax or step up the thrill level and test your skill at bodysurfing. The choice is yours.

Of course, nothing gets your adrenalin pumping like thrilling water slides and rides, and Wet’n’Wild has no shortage of those to choose from. There are solo rides, doubles, and group rides for three to four people, great for families. There are mild to medium thrill level slides and rides, as well as maximum thrill levels for the super adventurous and brave.

Check out all of the attractions, precincts, and experiences waiting for you at Wet’n’Wild this summer.
