Some may argue that you should be spending your weekends relaxing, while others prefer to socialise. Why not combine the two? The Gold Coast is a place for relaxation as well as excitement.

The coastal city has many beautiful beaches and natural attractions where you can go bushwalking and learn about the local flora and fauna. There are also theme parks and shopping malls if you want to go somewhere lively. On the other hand, you have several options if you enjoy wandering around at weekend markets.

Every weekend market on the Gold Coast is distinct. Please allow us to assist you in locating each weekend market.

1.THE VILLAGE MARKETS

Since 2008, The Village Markets has aided creative small businesses by providing a platform to launch their brands and showcase their products. But wait, there’s more. Every first and third Sunday of the month in Burleigh Heads, the award-winning boutique market and community for creative small businesses, features a curated line-up of boutique market stalls.

There are art, beauty, fashion, lifestyle stalls, and well-known pre-loved designer and vintage Rack Sales. There are also street food stalls and live music, filling the weekend market with positive energy.

2. BURLEIGH HEADS ART AND CRAFT MARKETS

Don’t pass up the opportunity to visit the Coast’s longest-running Art and Craft market. Burleigh Heads Art and Craft Markets have been providing a unique weekend market shopping experience for locals and visitors for over 30 years. Aside from shopping, you can relax on the grass and eat delicious treats while listening to local musicians.

Every last Sunday of the month, the market is open. They are located along the Ocean Way Path between the Headland and North Burleigh. This is an excellent location for walking your dogs or riding your bike.

3. BURLEIGH FARMERS MARKET

Burleigh Farmers Market is open every Saturday at 7 a.m. and sells everything fresh.

This is the market to go to if you need fresh farm produce, organic fruits and vegetables, or gourmet foods. They also sell fresh flowers and plants, as well as antiques and collectibles. If you go first thing in the morning, the local community market serves hot coffee and bakery treats to help you get your day started.

Why not stay a while after you’ve finished shopping? Live entertainment is provided at the Burleigh Farmers Market, showcasing a diverse range of local talent. It’s going to be a fun Saturday full of fabulous stalls, delectable aromas, and positive vibes.

4. SANCTUARY MARKETS CURRUMBIN

There’s another reason to go to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Aside from learning more about wildlife and having beautiful encounters with them, you can also sell your wares at the Sanctuary Markets.

The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on the Village Green hosts a food and craft market every Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. You can eat delicious local and international street food from Brazil, Chile, Japan, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, South Africa, and Venezuela.

In the Sanctuary’s parking lot, there will also be a produce market and Australian seafood. There will also be boutique beers from Burleigh Brewery and Sirromet Wines, as well as musical entertainment.

5. MIAMI MARKETTA

The Miami Marketta night market comes to life with food from all over the world. What’s great about this market is that the stalls rotate and are updated every week. As a result, you will have a new experience each time you visit. You might find an authentic Italian wood-fired pizza, a delectable Thai food stall, Japanese street food and more.

Now Miami Marketta may be a weekend market, but they are open three times a week. Every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 5 p.m., the night market is alive with delicious aroma and music. There is free live music at the night market featuring local and emerging Gold Coast talent.
