Boost Mobile Gold Coast Pro

Snapper Rocks, Snapper Rocks Road, Coolangatta

In 2023, Snapper Rocks will again play host to the Boost Mobile Gold Coast Pro presented by GWM. It is a venue that all elite surfers aspire to compete in, and these competitions serve as displays of cutting-edge, high-performance surfing for spectators to watch from the beach.

The seven-day competition will be held in the high-quality surf month of May with the Boost Mobile Gold Coast Pro sponsored by GWM starting off the 2023 WSL Challenger Series in Australia, providing an excellent vantage position to witness the world’s top surfers go head-to-head. Surfers will compete for a spot on the WSL Championship Tour in 2024.

Since 1977, the Gold Coast has played host to significant surfing competitions. The Gold Coast Pro is a yearly competition involving the top surfers in the world in some of the world’s best waves held at Snapper Rocks for more than 20 years. Daily attendance at the event might range from 5,000 to 10,000 spectators annually. Be sure to attend this athletic event!

Gold Coast 10 ft SUP Classic

May 20 to 21

Stand Up Surfers SUP Club, Burleigh Heads

The Gold Coast 10 ft SUP Classic has a confirmed date, so reserve May 20 and 21. The Gold Coast 10-foot SUP Classic aims to promote the sport and fortify the SUP surfing community.
